Michael Bolotin-Dream While You Can
This is from Michaels debut album which was released in 1975. This LP along with his next one did not sell well. Michael was more of a rocker back before he hit it big on the adult contemporary charts. This beautiful jazzy cut, with David Sanborn on sax is one of my favorites by him. He soon changed his name to Michael Bolton after this LP.
Dream little child, dream while you can
Dream my child, dream while you can
Of everything that I would dream
If I had the time, dream while you can
And fly little child, fly while you can
Fly my child, away while you can
Far out places and new born lands
Fly while you can
And be little child, be while you can
Be my child, free while you can
Anything that you wann...
Dream little child, dream while you can
Dream my child, dream while you can
Of everything that I would dream
If I had the time, dream while you can
And fly little child, fly while you can
Fly my child, away while you can
Far out places and new born lands
Fly while you can
And be little child, be while you can
Be my child, free while you can

Haunting, scary, yet deep and profound. Ryan Oksenberg, film maker who made "Cease To Exist" about the Manson Murders, and his prison telephone call from Charlie Manson. Ryan had written Charlie about his film and requested a chance to talk with him on the phone. Charlie did call. Here is part of the call which had me taken back for a moment because of what he said. Listen for yourself. Check o...

Do they play,popular music?
He's Insane! 😂😅😊
Her voice and style is so different from At Seventeen, years later in mid 1970s. I dig both.🎶🎧
Who's here 2024 listening to this song as our country is falling apart? Seems like there's no hope anymore for america😢
There is always hope you must have faith . God bless you
Hermosa música me gusta:55
Wow first thing I thought when I heard this song was that it reminded me of Madonna's Ray of Light. I wonder if Madonna know this song? The similarities were uncanny! Gorgeous song...
En esa época hasta los presentadores cantaban Wow!😮
I saw this on TV at 10. I laughed so hard that I peed myself a little. That was the only time that ever happened. Watching it now at 54, I am kind of underwhelmed.
❤
Leigh French is great.
MY fave❤
Sounds like what’s happening today 👍
I loved that Pat was an equal opportunity pisser offer. Today people are too politically correct and can't laugh at themselves.
😅🤠💜
Colonel Klink as Plato
"We'll be free someday soon..." What is Dion talking about? Free from what? This song is junk.
One of my favorite DH&THL songs!!
Are these two siblings?
Yes and theyre adorable!
@@miriamdesueza4565 They are!!! That’s soo cute
Ohh how wonderful to hear Dan Hicks again!!! Used to have every album available, played and sang along constantly! It was always exciting to turn others on to Dan Hicks & his Hot Licks! Once they’d been heard, every delighted listener couldn’t get enough of them!!
wow
Was brought here by AMC TV Series; Better Call Saul S04 E07. I like it.
My grandfather showed this to me when I was a little boy. I showed my dad who had somehow missed it. My dad was a huge country fan, anytime he'd listen to the song and the " I caught a good one it looked like it could run" part would come on he'd chuckle for the rest of the song.
😭 nostalgia is killing me
Years later, I saw an interview with some of the apes from this video...they said they would never work with Steve Martin again: noisy, smelly, always flinging poo, dangerous...they just couldn't take it. This video is entertaining though.
Drugs are so fucking cool
in the day when you had to be able to sing or go home.
Not the Acoustic Warriors. This is the original Hot Licks who had united for the reunion.
Thank God for this beautiful woman with a voice that only a divine source could provide. I was simply flipping through the Smothers Bros. Vids, and this melted me so much I read and researched her for a couple hours. And the sincere gratitude coupled with such humility placed my heart in such a beautiful space tonight. With a degree in vocal performance myself, I truly hope I have the pleasure of meeting you, Jennifer. Thank you for sharing your gift!❤
Not once, did anybody ever say, “Socrates, hemlock is poison”.
Dan & da Lix❗️😄 😸 👐 🫶
Beautiful voice!
😂😂😂😂
Love the song but brother and sister singing it seems so wrong
Pee wee herman
Prefer the simplicity of the original just think Eric takes over here, just my opinion 😊
Gambon was a bloody good actor and also had a bend in a ( kind of) racing circuit named after him
Smooth, so smooth……..❤
These people were on top of their game💋❣️
Love his voice. ❤
Dear Joni, I love you
The brothers sounded better
My dad always said Frank Jr. was not as good as his father. Dad was wrong, Frank Jr. was not even as good as me.
@jferreira2037 You've never heard ME.
This World needs to Get Back To the Garden!
Get those times , music and vibes here !
Frank sings very well, but Nancy sounds like she's singing another song!
When this came out, Martin King and Robert Kennedy had been assassinated just recently. This song stirred deep feelings everywhere because like the song says they were very much our hope. Robert Kennedy was campaigning to end the Vietnam war and people put their hope in him. He had just won the California primary which meant he was going to win the presidency. That’s when they got him. Just like when his brother stopped the war of conquest of Cuba and refused to follow the CIA’s Bay of Pigs invasion. Then he proceeded to “break the CIA war monger cabal into a thousand pieces and scatter them to the wind”. That’s when they got JFK. He had fired Dulles from the head of the CIA but Dulles became the one who controlled the evidence given to the Warren Commission. Today the drums of war are in full force with Orwellian control over what people can find through all media. I understand why Robert Kennedy Jr has so many detractors (that’s how controlled media works which includes paid commenters). He is our only hope to get back our country.
Wonderful Blending of their voices! Thanks for sharing!
Hear the audience gasp when Dickie announces the song title? Had my HS choir sing this in 2016; kids loved it, and parents, too.
Good choice for the choir. I bet it was fantastic.
